Unearthed From the Night Kitchen Archives

Welcome to The Vault.

For more than 25 years, we've been making pizza, causing minor trouble, and occasionally pointing a camera at ourselves. Along the way we've accumulated a collection of commercials, photos, newspaper clippings, menus, and other artifacts that probably should have been left buried.

Thankfully, they weren't.

This page is a celebration of the strange and wonderful history of the Night Kitchen. Some of what's here is polished. Some of it is charmingly homemade. A few pieces may raise important questions about our judgement. We stand by none of it and all of it.

Vintage Commercials

Long before social media, we made television commercials on a budget that would barely cover a few large pizzas. They were weird, earnest, occasionally baffling, and completely Night Kitchen.

Watch at your own risk.

Through the Years

Photos, menus, events, renovations, catering adventures, and snapshots from a quarter century of pizza making.

From the Archives

Old newspaper stories, advertisements, awards, and other bits of Night Kitchen history.

Be Strong. Be Wrong.

The Night Kitchen opened in 1999 with a brick oven, a shoestring budget, and some unconventional ideas about what belonged on a pizza. We ignored most of the rules, survived on stubbornness, and somehow we're still here.

Thanks for being part of the story.
